One reason I adore Ooki is that its drink menu is almost more interesting than the food menu. Their sommelier/ère has done a great job, offering more than just the usual lemonade or mainstream beer. The selection includes over 15 sakes by the glass, wines from boutique wineries, different green teas, and Japanese-inspired highballs.
Furthermore, I love Ooki for its beauty, both inside and out. The Zen-like garden is the perfect setting for a Summer dinner in tranquility. Indoors, the retro ambiance of this former tea room invites you to relax and savour the moment. Add to that their mouthwatering Japanese soups and rice bowls, and it's obvious why I return time and time again.
