One of my favorite restaurants in Amsterdam is The ‘Binnenvisser’. I have been here many times since I discovered it in 2019: I celebrated my birthday here and my anniversary with my boyfriend. What is so special about this place, you might be wondering; I will tell you!
The interior is like an old French cafe, with old wooden tables and cozy candlelight. For me, the atmosphere is really important for feeling at home in a restaurant. Besides the interior, I really love their wine selection. The wines are all natural wines, which means nothing was added to the process of making the wine.
The waiters give really good advice on which wine to pair with your meal. And lastly and probably the most important: the food is impeccable. The dishes differ per season and are always in line with which products are the most fresh. There is always a meat/fish and a vegetarian option. You can order separate dishes from the menu, but for the full experience, I would really recommend going with their multiple-course menu. I hope you'll love it as much as I do!
