This park is one of the best places to chill in the summer, especially if you want to watch the sunset! You can find Droogdokkenpark in the north of the city and it offers an amazing view of both the harbour as well as the city centre. In the summer it's a busy and lively place, and you will see many people enjoying beers, vibing to some music and even slacklining. You can sit on the grass, but there are also some loungers for an even more comfortable and chill experience (come early, before they're all taken).
In case you run out of drinks or you desperately need to go to the bathroom, the city of Antwerp has you covered: they build up a pop-up bar every summer, which contributes even more to the liveliness of this park.
One of my favourite summer memories is taking my closest friends, grabbing some falafel at Falafel Tof (make sure to check out the article) and cycling to Droogdokkenpark to hang out there all night. Don't forget to bring your cosiest hoody so you won't get cold on that summer night.
