Hello there,
This bookstore has many amazing books - the most recent and popular international ones but, at the same time, regional ones as well. The whole building is beautiful, and going through the shop gives you a very nice vibe. :)) It also sells maps, postcards and EP's. So for sure worth it if you like buying souvenirs. But the biggest reason why I added this bookstore as a spot is because of its cafe. It is located next to the store, and when it is quite full you must pass the books to do both!
The cafe is so special to me because it sells scones. I had never had them in my life until I discovered them here, and I loved them! They have a good range and variety, from sweet to salty, with many tasty toppings. Until today, I do not know of any place that serves them in Antwerp and even in neighbouring cities like Ghent. They are really worth a try if you haven't tasted them yet!
"Arenberg Schouwburg" is one of the many theaters in Antwerp. It emphasises on talent development & intercultural exchange. There's plenty I can recommend!

Here the kitchen is completely exposed to the public and you can see the bakers preparing their bread and pastries with a lot of love and craftsmanship.

"Barrique" in Antwerp has a special place in my heart. It's a breakfast and lunch bar in up-and-coming Berchem, and I love their a la carte options. ..

I was not into chocolate desserts until I had the chocolate caramel souffle with fleur de sel, vanilla ice cream, and olive oil at "Soma" in Brussels...

Although I am an outdoor lover, the interior of this pub is beautiful and cosy; and very lively! There is also a pool table upstairs.

"Bar Vert" in Antwerp is for you if you are a fan of Sunday brunches but are looking for a bit more adventure on your plate than just an omelet/croissant.

"Het Bos" is one of my favorite bars in Antwerp because there is probably no spot as versatile as this one. It's a place for artists, makers & musicians.

I've had some of my best nights in "Bier Central" in Antwerp. It's very central and easy to reach. I recommend trying the Leffe Ruby and Kwak beer...

I recommend any of their pastries as well as their fabulous 'Green Goddess Sandwich' - guacamole, a poached egg, and salmon, what else could I ask for?

"Mampoko" in Antwerp is a cozy brasserie located in a beautiful restored building serving bistro cuisine all day long for any kind of customer & hungry soul!
