Located at the impressive Ralli Arcade, one of the most “secret” urban arcades in the center of Athens, By the Glass offers you more than 200 different wines.
The simple but cozy decoration in the bistro will let you understand that the most important things in there are the wine and the customers. I'm sure, you will also realise they don't neglect the food and music, but, let me say it again: you and the wine will be the stars there. As more than 60 kind of wines are being offered by the glass, bartender and waiters are able to answer you whatever question you have about all the drinks they have in the menu.
The music moves from jazz to lounge rhythms and the volume is just perfect to have a conversation while cheering.
In Summer you can sit outdoors, in the small square just opposite, next to the Russian Orthodox Church, a monument of rare beauty.
I'm still amazed about how is it possible that even being at the very center of the city By the glass is not crowded by tourist but just local people hanging around.
