One fine day, I was jogging along the tree-lined pedestrian zone stretching along the above-ground green metro line in Moschato when I stumbled upon extremely cozy looking CatDog Urban Bar. It was just before sunset, so I was extra-intrigued! I made a point to come back with Marilena, and so we did - as a fine conclusion to our wedding anniversary last year!
Long story short, I've come back with plenty of friends and they've all been amazed at the low prices, cool vibe and '90s memorabilia. I mean, even the cocktails are named after Pokemon! I think my favorite is the Gengar.
But what really sets this spot apart is, as I mentioned, its location right next to a pedestrian zone and the Moschato metro station. It's really quiet here - the only thing that breaks the relative peace are the accelerating or decelerating trains coming in and out of the station that resound through the tall trees. You might even see a bike or two zooming past while sitting here. Call me biased, but if this doesn't scream "Berlin", I don't know what would!
It's become an instant favorite of mine - I just wish I had more friends to visit this place with.
Did I mention it's right next to a metro station?
