This restaurant has saved me several times! It’s the only place where you can find good quality food 24/7. Ciao Italia is a landmark of Athens for eating after a night out. At the early hours of the morning you will find youngsters having a pizza or pasta to dry out the alcohol but also old people enjoying their morning coffee with a croissant. That’s the time when the night meets the morning.

As the name suggests the cuisine is Italian. All pizzas are baked in a wood oven and they are rich in ingredients. There is a variety of pasta, salads and also pastries and desserts. I’ve never had anything that I didn’t like in this place.

I highly recommend trying pizza Florentin, the Ciao Italia salad and the mixed chocolate croissant for breakfast.  You can sit there, order at home or takeaway.
