Al Estez, translated to "The Professor" in English, is one of my favourite take-away snack restaurants which I tend to go to almost 2-3 times a week during my lunch breaks at work. It is a small open snack stand/restaurant in the heart of Sodeco square where people can either sit outside or take away deliveries. They are famous for their shawarma, taouk sandwiches as well as their beef and chicken kebabs -- not to forget their French fries and burgers!
More than half the UNICEF staff where I work are frequent customers of this spot and I am sure many of us believe it is worth grabbing a sandwich while exploring or passing around Sodeco.
The location, the food and the staff all together makes this spot one of my favourites!
