Union Marks is in Bourj Hamoud, just a few meters away from the main highway and a few kilometers away from downtown Beirut.
It’s an old textile factory transformed into a pub. It’s raw, authentic and just sublime; the industrial touch of the architecture is superb.
I loved the atmosphere as a whole — although the outside garden wasn’t open at night, they didn’t mind smokers going outside. It felt like being at home. You have the indoor living space and a whole green garden just facing the glazed metal doors.
Based on the concept of shared tables, it was possible to create our own private, cozy seated zones within the place. It was warm, cozy, casual and fun.
The friendly team made it just a wonderful night well spent with my girls.
I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to chill in a warm outside-the-box type of atmosphere.
