GIR is multi-brand retail space, a concept store, a furniture manufacturer and an exhibition/meeting place. It is located in New Belgrade, in a minimalist business building, but don't let this distract you: once you enter the store (full of light and plants and designed by studio AUTORI), you will see how much it stands out from its surroundings.
GIR is not a place to go to if you wish to buy a souvenir or a cheap lamp - it is a designers' store with a smart and high-quality offering: here you can find furniture and home accessories from brands such as Ethnicraft, Muuto, MENU, ferm LIVING and others. Also, here you will find products exclusively designed by regional and local designers and studios, and crafted in GIR factory, as part of their first collection, made solely from ash wood. In the past few years, the GIR's has been collaborating with local artists and collectives, so they have also hosted a few exhibitions and events in this space.
As part of the shop you will also find GIR café (working from Tuesday to Saturday, 9-18h) offering croissants, freshly squeezed juices and tasteful coffee served in beautiful glasses that are part of the store's offer. The café is a spacious, sunny and calm place where you can work, arrange a meeting or simply make a pause if you're in the neighborhood.
