It might easily become your favorite "street" in Belgrade and yet you can't really "walk" it. Don't look for it in the street index- it doesn't exist there. Some will swear that it doesn't exist at all. Ignore them.
All you need to do is become friends with someone who has a friend who owns a boat. Look, it is easier than it sounds. Alternatively, just approach any small yacht in any of the Sava or Danube marinas and ask for someone willing to take you on a boat ride on Belgrade's rivers.
After you've done that, don't do anything more. Ok, apply some sunscreen, but that's it. Sit (or lie) on a deck and, no matter how small or big, how fancy or basic it is, observe this giant wave of bliss, invisible to the naked eye, that will soon splash all over you. Notice how you start thinking that life is a simple and quite fun matter and that your only purpose is to just be.
Apply some more sunscreen. Be amazed when your boat enters the "street" and you find yourself in the world of floating wooden houses that nonchalantly reveals the dreamy life of its inhabitants, busy eating watermelons, reading in hammocks and fishing. "Who are those people? Where do they come from? Could it be me?", you will think. Have some chilled white wine and grilled river fish. Forget who you are and where you come from. Just be. Congratulations! You have found Nirvana Street.

"Radecki club/restaurant" on Belgrade's Zemun quay: a true local oasis - no espresso here, just plain good old 'domestic' Turkish coffee. Lots to see here.

The daily menu can, for example, include pumpkin with leek and poppy seeds, Thai curry with dried banana, chutney and raita. Or the good old veggie burger.
