I seem to have a thing for coffee shops that are so small they can't even fit tables and chairs inside. More often than not, these kinds of places offer the best quality and the friendliest service.
Holy Beans might just hold the title for the tiniest coffee shop I've ever seen, certainly in Belgrade. The space is just enough for one barista to make you a delicious cup of (very affordable) coffee, served in cute cups. As is often the case with such places, the owner also frequently works as the barista and is ready for a friendly chat while making your coffee/matcha latte.
Holy Beans' location is perfect for a quick recharge when you're exploring the city center, situated in the middle of Makedonska street, a few minutes away from the Republic square. If you miss the place while passing by (easy to do so due to its size!), there are often a couple of people in line just outside to let you know that the coffee here is worth the wait.
