Cinnamon rolls are without question my favorite dessert. Until recently, I had to rely on making them by myself or buying them frozen from IKEA, none of which could compare to sitting down in a specialized shop and diving into a delicious, soft cinnamon bun.
While the odd bakery or pastry shop does offer some form of cinnamon pastry, Rollna is (as far as I know) the first shop specialized in making cinnamon rolls in Belgrade. It is a tiny space on two levels, the main floor offering a display case where you can feast your eyes on the multiple flavors of rolls, and the upper floor having just a couple of tables and chairs to sit at and enjoy your cinnamon roll with a hot cup of coffee. After satisfying your sweet craving, head down the street to Profesorska kolonija - a beautiful neighborhood where you can walk around and enjoy some beautiful architecture.
Due to its rise in popularity, there is a constant stream of orders from this place, mostly using delivery services, so you're almost guaranteed to buy a cinnamon roll fresh out of the oven whenever you visit. Those who are more adventurous can satisfy their curiosity with different toppings and glazes, while I will sit in the corner enjoying my classic, delicious cinnamon roll, the perfect dessert in my book.
