Finally Berlin has gone beyond the relaxing of restrictions into lifting the social life ban. So we are finally starting to loosen up and relieve the contracted flirting and courtship skills, but while wearing our masks of course!
With this renaissance, at last I got the green light to go out on a date with a girl. After a long process to agree on a date and time, we needed to pick a place. In order to break the social distancing slowly and not try to go crazy on the first date of the season, I proposed to make a picnic in Tiergarten. The typical lockdown outing, and since she lives in Prens-berg and me in Charlottenburg, it was an equidistant place as well.
Despite the long run-up, none of us had time to cook something good enough for the occasion. Luckily for us, we found Cafe Am Neuen See!
It's a biergarten with a lake in the heart of the park. So it's the best way to kick off the dating season with good beers, German food and boats to get even more romantic on the lake!
