I came across this wonderful spot recently by accident, when my mother invited me there after a nice winter walk in the Botanical Garden Berlin. What can I say - I was overwhelmed, because the Café is situated in a huge green house, so you can take a coffee or have a snack while sitting under exotic plants and feeling like you're in the jungle, harvesting the coffee beans yourself.
My enthusiasm even rose when I saw the fresh-made cakes they offer there, and believe me, they have their prices, but you will definitely not ask for a second slice. Anyway, I decided to go for a lamb filet instead of the cake (did I mention they are amazing?) and was finally blown away: All ingredients fresh and from the Gartenakadimie's own orchards.
To top it all off, every week they have a piano player come and doodle some sublime tunes while you enjoy your time. Café-wise, it doesn't get any better than this for me.

What makes them even more special is their friendly nature. On most days, you might run into their owner Jonathan, the heart and soul of the café. SPRO would not shine the same way without his thoughtfulness.

They take the traditional döner in Berlin and transform it into a borderline art form. With flavorful sauces, meat, vegetables, spices, herbs, bread, and cheese, there's no wonder each bite tastes better than the last.

Heard of a croffle? What about an egg drop sandwich? Well, let me introduce you to your new favourite brunch food. Even if you've heard of these two before, you must try Puffle Bees.

For €2, you can enjoy their falafel, shawarma, or kafta wrap. Their falafel wrap can be fully plant-based, too, just let them know, so they omit some sauces. They're better off as a snack because they're a bit on the smaller side.
