Ever tried Ethopian food? Stepping into Lalibela is like entering a vibrant tapestry of Ethiopian culture. As I open the door, I'm immediately greeted by the warm aromas of simmering food. The interior is inviting, with colorful decorations adorning the walls and pleasant music filling the air.
Taking a seat, I'm handed a menu that promises a culinary adventure. The choices are varied, from hearty stews to fragrant vegetarian dishes, each one exciting me to indulge in its unique blend of spices and seasonings. Some of the menus can be shared with several people.
As I place my order (Dinice Wot, Misser Wot & Yeater Kik Alicha and some honey wine), I can't help but admire the attention to detail in every aspect of the restaurant: friendly service, nice decor, and, of course, the still tantalizing smell wafting from the kitchen.
And here's the best part: at Lalibela Wedding, dining is a hands-on experience – literally! Embracing the Ethiopian tradition, I ditch the utensils and use injera to scoop up each delicious bite. Throughout my meal, I'm transported right to the bustling streets of Addis Ababa, where the sights, sounds, and tastes of Ethiopia come alive.
