This cafébar located just across from Boxi in Friedrichshain is a great place to catch up with friends or get your creativity on. Since it's open until 3 AM on most nights, it's the perfect spot for night owls working on that late-night passion project. You'll find many various combinations of people working on their laptops with a glass of wine, or groups of friends getting together to catch up over espresso.
One word to describe Macondo? Bustling! It's not the place if you need a quiet space to work, but it's nice if you want to have it all: work, play, wine, and coffee. Plus, you can find plenty of tasty Latin American treats to snack away on, my favorite being their beef empanada served with fresh pico de gallo or their chilaquiles. If you visit on a Saturday you can head on over to the park across the street and find one of the best flea markets in Berlin.
