Looking for authentic and affordable German food in Berlin? You've come to the right place!
Wurstpate is a hidden gem serving tasty wurst at reasonable prices. Here you can find authentically made Currywurst using an 'old Berliner' recipe that hasn't changed in decades. Their Currywurst is €2.40, and you can add on a hearty portion of fries for €2.30 more. I definitely think that they have some of the tastiest currywurst in the city. You can try other meaty dishes for cheap too including Kettwurst, Bockwurst, and Fleischkäse, which range from €1.80 to €2.90.
Hot dogs can also be found here, starting at just €2.20 and featuring a mix of flavorful toppings including pickle, sauerkraut, crispy onions, mustard, roasted onions, and chili sauce. The hot dogs are on the smaller side, but they still make for a great snack. If you're feeling properly hungry go for the currywurst and fries.
If you prefer a meat-free dish Wurstpate has still got you covered. Pay 5o cents more to replace the wurst with a vegan sausage.

For €2, you can enjoy their falafel, shawarma, or kafta wrap. Their falafel wrap can be fully plant-based, too, just let them know, so they omit some sauces. They're better off as a snack because they're a bit on the smaller side.
