I stumbled upon X-Terrain by pure chance, drawn in by the Pink Floyd song drifting from inside as I walked down the street. It’s a place that has somehow preserved its own unique vibe amidst the upscale, modern restaurants around it, and it gives me a comforting sense of safety.

On some days, there’s nothing better than heading down to the basement of X-Terrain, sipping on a beer by candlelight, and getting lost in the music of Pink Floyd! No doubt about it.

After 11 p.m., finding a seat can be tricky, but you’ll notice it’s mostly Berliners who gather here — not tourists. And in the summer, the outdoor tables make a perfect spot to soak in the atmosphere.

Don't forget to bring some cash and say Zum Wohl!
