If you are craving burritos, tacos, burgers or hearty bowls for lunch, dinner, or something in between, this is the place to be: Burrito Bandito serves one of the most delicious street food in Bern. The meat is from the local butcher, and there are vegan/vegetarian options for most dishes. The owner (originally from California) wanted to bring yummy, healthy Californian-Mexican soul food from back home to Switzerland. And let me tell you, he did!
The takeaway is hidden in a side street off the «party mile» in Bern (Aarbergergasse) and part of the bar «Kurt & Kurt». The street might seem a tiny bit gloomy. Don't let that fool you or even put you off – it is part of the experience. The friendly staff and the tasty food make more than up for it.
The food is available to eat in, take away or order from home. I recommend a homemade lemonade with your burrito – the best way to quench your thirst.
