""100 Piv" in Bratislava is a br/shop designed for people like me who love discovering new tastes and brands. I can't believe they had draft Mikkeler..."

I'm a beer lover and '100 Piv' is a place designed for people like me who love to discover new beer tastes and brands.

Pivo means beer in Slovak, so the name of the pub is 100 beers. This is because of the incredible range of beers they offer: draft beer as well as bottled beer or cans. The place is actually a bar as well as a store.

When I lived in Denmark, my favorite beer was Mikkeler and I couldn't believe they actually had draft Mikkeler. The beer menu changes from time to time. When I was there with my friend, the draft beer menu was very impressive, as they got De Molen Haze + Rain -- Weizen with Elderflower (Netherlands), Mikkeler Winbic -- Sour Wild Ale (Denmark), Wywar Tree House -- Indian Pale Ale (Slovakia), Unorthodox Red Wedding -- Belgian Ale with red grape juice (Slovakia), Clock No Idols! Canadian Dark Ale -- Black Indian Pale Ale (Czech Republic), and Ziwel -l- Lager (Slovakia).

As you can tell from the picture about the bottled beer range, there are so many brands and also seasonal offerings like pumpkin beer during the autumn :). Such an enjoyable place!

Kapitulská street – A medieval walk

"Kapitulská street" is one of my favorite places in Bratislava because it's so unspoilt and underdeveloped, an authentic street in the Old Town.

Veternik – Sweet and quick satisfaction

"Veternik" Bratislava is a shop that does what it says on the box: veterniks! In my opinion the best one's the classic caramel with cream filling.

Čierny Pes – Beer time in the center

Despite its location in the center of Bratislava, "Čierny Pes" (Black Dog) is an excellent place to have a good draft beer for a reasonable price.
