Aperitivo – now that’s a concept everyone can get behind. During aperitivo time at Piola Libri, the Italian expat HQ in Brussels, the drink(ssss) you buy grant you unlimited access to a small buffet of antipasti. I usually devour what I believe are cheese cubes (and olives), but was recently told they could be tofu…Either way, if you are looking for a little piece of Italy in Brussels, look no further, and head out to Piola Libri. Its perfect for after-work drinks (spriiiiitz time!), especially due to its proximity to the EU quarter.

La Piola Libri is a bookstore/cafe/wine bar with a great wine selection (Italian – of course), exquisite and affordable spritz and friendly service. It has interesting books on display (with a good children’s section), a small terrace on the street, good vibes (people share seating on the longer tables), good music, and they organise interesting cultural events…what else do you need?
