This is an amazing spot in Brussels to watch over this diverse city in the morning, afternoon but especially in the evening when the sun begins to set. I enjoy visiting this place at any time of the day to see if I can spot all the directions mentioned on the small stone wall. I haven't yet been able to identify all the villages/churches marked on there but I'm sure I will at some point! Sometimes I just walk around here listening to some interesting podcast while watching the Belgian skies (yes, they can be blue in fact!).
The only downside of this spot is that it can be quite dirty and neglected at times. It's not particularly well known, and with the ongoing construction on the tramline, some people tend to litter and leave their trash around. I would recommend coming in the afternoon since it sometimes becomes a youth spot for the local school kids.
