Keks is my perfect destination for a family breakfast. My son really likes everything here, and is eager to taste his small pancakes and marshmallow cacao on Saturday morning. Another good option for breakfast are the waffles, available here in two variants – the classic “Belgium style” and trendy “Bubble”, with a filling of your choice. As for myself, I prefer Keks’ compound sandwiches made with artisanal bread, freshly baked by them every morning, and Benedict eggs with homemade buns.
It is worth mentioning that Keks is a subsidiary to the hi-end Jiraffe restaurant located upstairs, as they share the same chef and kitchen, but they are riskier and more experimental with the menu in Keks. Another feature of the spot are the great desserts that include all the classics like eclairs, Sacher and cheesecake.
From April to October they have a relaxing summer terrace under chestnut trees, which adds a lot of points to the atmosphere.
