Salat is considered a family restaurant, and not only for being located in a living area among apartment blocks. You can usually see a lot of families with small kids having dinner and enjoying their evening in each other's company. They have a big playing space for toddlers so you can bring your kids and savor your delicious meal while they are having fun there. Also, you can combine your food with one of the various types of wine they have in their collection.
Most of the time, I come to Salat for lunch. They have bistro tables, like some type of Swedish buffet you can approach and choose the food you want to have for lunch that is already cooked and fresh. It is much faster and cheaper than having lunch in a café or restaurant, because the kitchen is usually full with orders at these hours. I recommend you take a seat at the bar table by the window and enjoy the view.
