Having a very good location right in the heart of the Moldovan capital, Valea Morilor Lake is your great recreational spot during a hot summer day or after a stressful day. Trust me!
Yes, you can also enjoy Cathedral Central Park next to the main boulevard, but you will definitely hear the street noise and see people rushing.
Valea Morilor, having a much bigger size, will let you completely ”disconnect” from everything. It is a large valley, with a lake in the center and very nice walking/cycling paths around. By weekends, life is ”pumping” there, as this place is preferred by most of Chisinau's citizens, but no worries, you will find your hidden quiet place!
Valea Morilor often hosts some cultural events, flash mobs, or even some sports competitions. You can easily join them!
This park becomes especially charming by the evening. There is no rush, so you can walk around the lake or among some giant pine trees or feed the ducks or eventually just sit on the bench, looking at the water and thinking about how great your decision to visit Moldova was!
