Trattoria Salento is the restaurant we went to on the exact day we moved to Cologne, to celebrate a day of hard work. It thus has a special place in our earliest memories of the city we now call home. We regularly go back to Trattoria Salento, for instance, to celebrate birthdays.
Trattoria Salento is a cozy and intimate Italian restaurant with a covered terrasse at the front. As they cook with seasonal and fresh ingredients, their menu changes every day. The last couple of times we ate there, we had a gargantuan antipasto platter, grilled sea bream, and liver with sage butter. All those dishes were delicious! You can check their Facebook page for mouth-watering photos of what they are currently offering.
You can book a table by phone or email and, for a crazy night afterward, the club Odonien is not too far (12 min by public transport).
