It was a long journey to find the perfect place to get some work done, including fast internet, a nice atmosphere, fair prices and good and healthy food. But I did find it: Kaffesaurus is my new favorite place to be in Cologne.
Smoothie bowls, smashed avocado, "Breakfast Burger" or "Eggs Any Style" for breakfast or T-Rex burrito (chicken, corn, beans, lettuce, tortillas,...) and hummus bowl for lunch... Or are you feeling like some pancakes with homemade yoghurt, berries and chocolate (Pancake Night) or a tasty piece of cake? Either way, you won't leave hungry. Every time of day, you can find something in the menu that satisfies your desires.
To stay focused on your work, don't forget to try the coffee here. From Brazil, Peru, Honduras or India, the coffee is fair trade and individually roasted! And for me that I often stay here for hours, it's really important that it's affordable. A good cappuccino with oat milk for 2.60€ is a great price and so you can invest your saved coffee money in one of the delicious cakes.
Another important fact for me: it's not too crowded, no one is rushing or gives you a feeling you have to order more or to hurry up.
And of course it's also a nice spot to meet your friends and often one of mine steps by during lunch break.
