1/3 of our food is wasted or lost!
The Good Food is going to fight this problem with its (now already) 4 shops around Cologne. Here you can choose between fresh veggies, smoothies, snacks, milk, beer, and much more. What first sound like a usual grocery shop is far more: The Good Food doesn't have any prices. You can pay what you think the products are worth. You can find some original prices to have a better understanding of the value of the products and the team always helps with prices if you are not sure what to give. Don't worry: There won't be any judgment!
Next to saving some money, the most important is: You are saving food that would have been thrown away because of either the best-to-date or how it looks - too small, too crooked - or because it's not fresh enough anymore like bread from the day before.
All people working here are volunteers and want to support our broken food system. So before goings shopping in the supermarket next door, have a look in The Good Food first and make our world a bit better :)
