I love nothing more than being outside, so when I returned to Dublin I started outdoor yoga in one of Dublin's prettiest squares - Dartmouth Square. Owned by the residents of the square, Dartmouth Square is home to yogis on Saturday mornings from the month of April/May until late Autumn!
Even though it is just a 10-minute walk to the city centre, you really feel like you are so far away from the hustle and bustle. Regardless of your fitness level, everyone benefits from outdoor yoga and it is the best way to prevent sleeping your Saturday away. The yoga instructors are really nice and stand in the centre of the square while the yogis stand around them like ripples in the water.
Each yoga session is one hour in duration and donations are made by each participant and the money is used to maintain the square. If you are a beginner or an experienced yogi, it is certainly an experience to remember.
