A wine bar and restaurant, Divino Enoteca has a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, where my biggest problem is working up the motivation to leave. In the winter, they've a fireplace and comfy sofas inside and in summer, if we ever get such a thing in Scotland, there is a terrace to try and catch a few minutes of sun.
There is a great wine list which the staff provides amazing recommendations from if, like me, you don't know where to start! Or instead you can try one of the wine flights – there is a variety of options for different tastes and price ranges.
All menus are typically Italian, with a focus on quality produce. Whatever you order you have to include the Zucchini Fritti - trust me! They also have pretty amazing specials. Last time I visited it was spicy sausage and beetroot ravioli, not a combination I would've immediately thought of but specular none the less!
My favourite night to go is Wednesday when they have a Jazz band to accompany your dinner. Even more reason to get settled in with a glass of wine!
Located in the centre of the old town, Divino Enoteca is a great escape from the crowds without leaving the city.
