Vintage shop B-52 Vintage is ultra specific: almost entirely men’s wear, mostly American, spanning from the 1940s to the '80s. Now, this is why I like it: it’s carefully curated, collection-based, and historically informed. Here you’ll find stacks of vintage Levi’s, Nike’s from the '80s and loads of ex-military wear and gear.
The piece I fell in love with was hanging on the wall like a piece of art: a green military jumper from World War II, circa 1943. You may find the occasional pair of women’s sunglasses from the '70s, but the store is clearly centered on masculine apparel, which is a nice rarity!
As an artist, I like looking at vintage clothes almost as much as I like wearing them. For me, this place is a wonderful spectacle, almost like a museum of wearable items, filled with odd gems that are all perfectly thought out. The shop is a bit outside of the city center, in the area of Legnaia, a very residential neighborhood. It has a relaxed atmosphere and the owner is very friendly. You may just find yourself as the only customer in the there, with all the space to browse and discover the abundance of vintage wear on your own!
