Aroma is one of these places everyone needs to try. It looks like a typical “Trinkhalle” or kiosk, but in reality it is a snack stand. This is highly underrated though, as this is supposedly the best falafel place in Frankfurt.
The Aroma offers a lot of vegetarian food, but meat-lovers will also have their share with shawarma. I mostly go for the falafel or the halloumi sandwich, but the falafel-hummus-plate is amazing and enough for two people. It is one busy place, so you might have to queue up a little.
I enjoy the hustle and bustle, the people-watching and the short walk home with my falafel sandwich. They also have a few seats though, a little wall to sit on and it is just a short walk to the Holzhausenpark in case all seats are taken.
It is en route from the city to the Nordend, so I like dropping by on the way back from the city.
