If you are watching out for what you eat, finding a good meal during a trip or when you are on the run may prove to be a real challenge. The same goes for when you are simply having one of those cravings for a burger, a pizza, or any other heart-warming comfort food, but you don't really want to spoil your efforts at the gym. Say no more; 'fit kitchen' may just be the place you need to know.
The fit kitchen menu is not the largest: burgers, pizza and salads. What makes it stand out is their approach to "fast food"-making. Both pizzas and burger buns are made of a mix of wheat, almond and soy flour, and their fries are hot-air fried, reducing the amount of fat.
Fit Kitchen presents a comparison between the nutrient count in their dishes and the usual count in a similar dish in its traditional form. Is it really low on carbs, fat and calories? Honestly, I cannot know and couldn't think of a way to confirm it but do let me know if you think of something.
One thing I can say about Fit Kitchen's food though - it is very tasty! I was particularly impressed with the burger (I had the chicken-mozzarella one), and the pizza was surprisingly good as well.
If you are trying to eat healthy, I'd highly recommend this! And if the calorie count is not right... oh well, you're having great food nonetheless!
