My perfect sunset view

On a free evening, after work or on the weekend, nothing sounds better than spending time along the Main river.
Especially in summer it's the best spot to enjoy the evening sun, as you get to see the sunset until it dissolves behind the skyscrapers. I love the setting with all the different people sitting on deck chairs, blankets or right by the water's edge appreciating the sound of the street musicians.
There are no cars, as it is below street level. It is below the poplar alley and the museums of Sachsenhausen. There are lots of people passing by – skaters, joggers, nordic walkers. I enjoy going for a stroll or having a picnic on the grass watching the boats and standup paddlers passing by.
Everytime I think about renting one of the pedal boats, but then opt for an apple wine whilst enjoying the perfect view of the skyline.
