Pracht Bar in Frankfurt's hip Bahnhofsviertel has become a regular spot to stop by for me, as I live very close by.
It's located at the corner of Niddastraße and Karlstraße, just around the corner from the 25 Hours hotel "The Trip". Pracht may seem very small, since the impressive bar counter made from stone covers up a view to the inside, but there are several tables available inside.
As long as temperatures are bearable, most guests gather outside on the sidewalk for that reason, and as well due to the current pandemic situation.
Even though I'm not too much into beer, I can never say no to one of their small ice-cold San Miguel bottles (€2.50).
It's the perfect location to start off a weekend's night out, especially if you don't know exactly where to go. Ask the waiters or people around, most of them can recommend something for the night.
Pracht also hosts their own electronic music sessions. Have a look at the homepage for the latest dates.
As opening hours depend a little on the number of visitors, don't be surprised if the bar closes earlier on some nights.
