If I’m out for a proper night on the town, I always round it up with a visit to Silbergold. Well, technically I usually end up buying fries down the street, but you know what I mean.
Frankfurt’s clubbing scene is really dominated by the hip-hop and house scenes, and I was thrilled when I discovered there was a club playing a range of electro and independent music. There’s always a fresh rotation of DJs coming through and the place is small enough that you’re unlikely to feel overwhelmed.
Silbergold has two areas, a dance hall and a separate bar, which works out great depending on what kind of mood you’re in. Sometimes I just want to have a beer with friends and play the arcade machine. Other nights I’ll be looking to bop along to whatever the DJ’s spinning. It’s casual and unfussy, and it’s what I ultimately crave from a good club experience.
I would recommend ending your night here after a long night of partying. The drinks are cheap, the staff are great, and the music doesn’t suck. You can’t have a bad time at Silbergold. It’s worth the door charge.
