If you think the Pharmacie des Eaux-Vives is just your regular pharmacy in Geneva, I tell you - you're absolutely wrong. Enter the old-style glass door in the cool Rue des Eaux-Vives, in one of the trendiest neighborhoods in town, and get ready to be surprised.
The first thing you'll notice is the wait - at least if you go at lunchtime, or after work. This pharmacy is not a secret: everyone knows how good it is, and so it tends to get very busy. But once your turn comes, you'll have a competent, kind pharmacist all to yourself. Sure, you can order any kind of medicine - but there's so much more. Here, pharmacists are prepared to advise you on aromatherapy, nutrition, phytotherapy, homeopathy, floral elixirs, curative teas, and any kind of supplements you might need.
Even if you're skeptical of natural medicine, you won't be disappointed. The pharmacy prepares its own remedies for any kind of issue, and over the years I have tested many of them: they work. I tried the Bach flowers, the special supplements with vitamins, the soft pills with essential oils for respiratory problems, and even a magic elixir to cure and prevent food poisoning (believe me, it did work). The essential oils and aromatic plants are my favorite: they are organic, and they smell just wonderful.
Whatever your issue is, and even if you're super healthy but just in the mood for great advice to feel even better, this pharmacy is the place for you.
