When I need an emergency vacation during the summer but don't have any days off, I jump on my bike and head straight to Tropical.
Owned and operated by the city of Geneva, Tropical is a delightful mini resort! Whether you're in the mood to paddle board, swim or just hang out and have a cold beer surrounded by gorgeous people, this place has got you covered! Tropical has two bars, offers paddle board and wake surf classes and throws really good parties a couple of times a season.
A lot of different people spend time at Tropical. It is a really good place to unwind after work. I really enjoy the mix of suits and boardshorts on a weekday after six. It is a bit of a ride from the city center and slightly secluded, which has prevented it from getting overcrowded.
Everyone there always seems to be awesome all the time, which can make you feel a little bit inadequate until you realize that if you're there, you're one of those people now.
