My new favourite local on yon bonnie banks of the River Kelvin. Folk rave about the craft beer here at Inn Deep - and there's a great selection - take that special someone along for a pint of Arrogant Bastard. They do great cocktails too. I have happy memories of a summer's afternoon spent drinking delicious mango mojitos.
Their steak pie is the best I've ever tasted (apart from my mum's) and it comes with chips and sweet potato chips. I've heard good reports about their burgers and, on a recent visit, my 'this had better be good' daughter enjoyed her huge plate of spare ribs. In fact, there were so many she couldn't eat them all and when the woman next to us asked us if she could have the leftovers for her dog, my daughter was happy to oblige. We were slightly disturbed to see the woman eating them herself as we left. If it's sunny, you can eat and drink on the tables outside overlooking the river.
On occasional nights, quality DJs provide quality music from 18:00 to late. Check the website for details.
