Zique's – Best of the brunch!

"Zique's" Glasgow has earned quite a (deserved) reputation for itself. The breakfast menu is mouth-watering and is served until 17:00 every day.

EAST – Stripped back coffee house

"EAST" in Manchester is a minimal café with a simple staple menu to go with amazing coffee. The pancakes here are especially to be taken note of...

"BAaD", or the Barras Art and Design Centre in Glasgow, has everything you could possibly want in one venue. The amazing fish restaurant is just the start.

Cafe Strange Brew – Local & cosy

"Cafe Strange Brew" is not to be passed if you find yourself on this side of Glasgow. Their increasingly popular matcha lattes make me come back for more.

West Brewery – A beer haven

"West Brewery" is my beer heaven in Glasgow. The main attraction is the wonderful beer garden. You can sit on the grass if you don't mind getting green.

"Ox and Finch" in Finnieston Glasgow is quickly becoming one of the most popular restaurants in Glasgow. I love their cocktails too!

Singl-End – Quirky personified

"Singl-End" in Glasgow gave me good vibes from beginning to end (pardon the pun). The staff were so lovely and welcoming. And their brunch is amazing!

About me

About me
I am student journalist with an addiction to coffee and a great love of cats. I love travelling and going out to try new things and explore new places. My boyfriend is a chef and it means we have a great excuse to try different food and check out up & coming restaurants.

Why Glasgow?
Glasgow really is such a lovely place to live, as Billy Connelly says, it's our warmth and humour that makes it so hospitable.

Having lived in Glasgow since I was born, I still haven't seen everything! There are many beautiful places to visit in Scotland but I can say with confidence that nowhere can you find the vibrant atmosphere that you will find in this city.
