Singl-End Glasgow

Quirky personified

Debbie from Glasgow

About me I am student journalist with an addiction to coffee and a great love of cats. I love travelling and going out to try new things and explore new places. My boyfriend is a chef and it means we have a great excuse to try different food and check out up & coming restaurants. Why Glasgow? ""Singl-End" in Glasgow gave me good vibes from beginning to end (pardon the pun). The staff were so lovely and welcoming. And their brunch is amazing!"

After much anticipation, I finally got to try this great little spot. First impressions are important and Singl-End gave me good vibes from beginning to end (pardon the pun). The staff were so lovely and welcoming - I appreciate friendly people especially when it seems natural. The decor was interesting and fun, with seemingly random bits & bobs scattered around the tables. It works in an unconventional and Scottish way.

Singl-End is all about brunch: saying that, I visited late afternoon but it was just what I wanted. It has a good variation between meat & veggie options so everyone will find something! The smoothies and coffees are great but I have to tip my foodie-loving hat to the bakery. There are fresh, unique breads to choose from as well as a plethora of cakes and tartlets to satisfy your sweet-cravings. My will power disappears at the sight of chocolate.

It's a little way out from the city centre but if you make the visit, the warm glow of fairy lights will guide you down to the promise of delicious food and a lovely experience.

My boyfriend is a chef and it means we have a great excuse to try different food and check out up & coming restaurants. Why Glasgow? Glasgow really is such a lovely place to live, as Billy Connelly says, it's our warmth and humour that makes it so hospitable. Having lived in Glasgow since I was born, I still haven't seen everything! There are many beautiful places to visit in Scotland but I can...
