My place to go for coffee and cake on a Sunday is Lütt Liv. This cosy café is part of the old industrial area which now hosts a museum, sometimes a flea market and the cultural center (which is in the same building as this café and is called Zinnschmelze). The coffee and tea is awesome and it is very cosy inside. Chairs and sofas invite you to stay a little longer and enjoy the chatty atmosphere. The café and restaurant use regional products for their awesome food and the cook knows who the producers of the raw materials for the dishes are.
If you don't wanna come for cake and coffee you can check the daily lunch menu (Tuesday to Friday) or come in the evening. During summer I like to sit outside and watch people pass by on the old cobblestone pavement and chill out in the rustique sourroundings. In winter the kitchen closes at 21:00.
