I love the river and the old ships. One of the best spots to see them is the "Museumshafen" in Oevelgönne. I like to check out the wooden ships and read the interesting information. There are different kinds of ships which change from time to time. One of them is a restaurant ship so you can grab some food and beer there too.
Among others (check out their website to see what's there) you might find sailing ships, an ice breaker, a crane and a barge. At the same time, it is an official stop for the harbour ferry line which I love to take to see the harbour for the convenient price of a public transport ticket. So you can also hop on and off the harbour ferries there.
