I love French cuisine and I like speaking the language. No wonder that I was studying in French while I was in Canada (of course I was in Québec). When I need a break from writing, I sometimes meet people here in this small café at the border between Eppendorf and Winterhude. It has just around 10 tables and they serve delicious small lunch menus like sweet or salty tartes. And you can have it the French way: as a "formule tarte et vin" which means nothing other than having a wine with the tarte. When I was working in France once, people would have their usual lunch with wine, too, so why not enjoy it the traditional French way?
What I also like here is not just the cosy atmosphere or the French lemonades that you can enjoy; I like the size of the tea pots as well. They are big. And I love tea, so that's a match.
Wanna do some savoir de vivre? Go there.
