I can't believe I haven't discovered this place before as a cocktail fan finding herself in Kadıköy for a drink quite frequently. Boden is a spot that is worth visiting not only for the tasty cocktails but also for the delicious dishes. They offer an array of sweet and savory signature cocktails along with the classics. "Sorrel" is their most preferred cocktail, according to the staff. I think it really deserves this reputation as it is a perfectly balanced cocktail for sour flavor lovers. "Panic" tastes excellent with a slightly sweeter taste. You can also opt for Sage if you like sweeter but still balanced cocktails.
They have a food menu that changes daily and main dishes that are always on the menu. We have tried a meatball plate with hummus, salad on the side, and lasagne. Both were undeniably as good as their cocktails. They also serve brunch, coffee and desserts.
Thanks to Boden, it is now possible to find a chic ambiance, tasty cocktails, food and reasonable prices all in one place in Kadıköy. As it is located in one of the alleys, it gives you a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of Kadıköy, but the place itself gets full, especially around 7 pm on the weekends. It seems to get easier to find a seat after 9:30 pm though.
