About me
I'm an engineer. I've been living in Istanbul since I was born.
I love to travel around like a local as often as possible. Grabbing a beer while listening to good live music is priceless for me. I also love photography. Taking unique pictures, trying local tastes and meeting new people to share experiences are my aim. I'm trying to learn as much as possible from people around the world. Because we are different and that's what makes us rich.
Why Istanbul
This city is addictive. Despite all the negative comments, Istanbul is unique. After travelling in a lot of European cities, my impression is that Istanbul combines a lot of specialties. There is a great history behind the city (from Romans to Ottomans). And there's the unique Bosphorus with its wonderful view. You can find numerous opportunities to see, eat and do things. I so love this city.

Cafe Naftalin K in Istanbul's Balat is a spot I love going with friends after photography tours in the area. It's so cozy - its stove is a lifesaver!

Istanbul Modern Art Museum is the city's first modern art institution opened by a private enterprise. Apart from everything else, don't skip on the cafe.

Şeyhmuz Kebap is a good alternative in Istanbul's Old City area. All the meat there is prepared with a special traditional method from the Mardin region.

Perili Köşk Istanbul houses the Borusan Contemporary Art Museum. Some call it the haunted mansion because it was incomplete for years. I love the views!
