The narrow wooden porch of Cherrybean Coffees is located on the wide main street of Moda, fenced with many pots of plants and ceramic artworks in front of small tables. It is very easy to be misled by the humble size of the front view and to get the impression that it is a tiny, cozy café.
What you discover as you step in, however, is that the café has a cavernous interior. Yet despite the impressive size, the vibe is nothing short of living-room-cozy, thanks to the bookshelves full of books, comfy armchairs, locally made design objects, and the occasional snoozing street animal.
After stepping in, a bar-shaped service station with a collection of freshly made cookies and pastries welcomes you. The options they have, such as gluten-free or whole-wheat choices, help you get rid of some of the guilt — if not all of it.
But perhaps the most distinctive feature of Cherrybean Coffees is that it’s a roastery café, serving delicious coffee made from beans roasted in-house. You don’t have to be an expert to notice the delicious cherry notes in the brew — just as the name suggests.
