I’ve been there a dozen times and I can’t seem to get tired of this place. Cafe Manggha is a restaurant and cafe located in the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology. It’s a very distinctive building on the banks of the Vistula River. While you sit at your outdoor table, you can enjoy stunning views of the city, including the Wawel Castle. And that’s just one of the nice things!
The menu is mostly focused on Japanese cuisine, with some European options for breakfast and dessert. I love to come there for a hearty Japanese breakfast with rice, salmon, and miso soup. It makes every weekend better! Cafe Manggha is also a great option for lunch, served until 5 PM. No matter the time of the day, they always have some vegan options available. I bring many of my friends there with the confidence they will love it. No surprises there: they always do!
Their offer of teas deserves a special mention, too, as it’s probably the best tea selection available in a Kraków restaurant. Every option on the menu has a detailed description. If you take your tea seriously, this is the place for you. No matter if you come for the drink, the food, or the view – I’m absolutely sure this will be the highlight of your visit to Kraków.
