Before I first visited Curry Up, I'd read about them on local foodie blogs. I'd learned this place was created by two guys who travelled across Asia, loved the food and the culture in general and simply wanted to spread all the love. As soon as I entered the place itself, I could feel why all of those statements were completely true – the interior (although tiny) is filled with wall paintings, pictures, cookbooks and laid-back, friendly vibes. Even though there are just a few seats and the space isn't designed for long chats, eating inside is mood-boosting.
Now, let's get to the point: the menu is divided into three sections (mains, starters, drinks), all consisting of 4 options. A short list of options means all of them all delightfully fresh and carefully prepared. My favourites? Their veggie options: dal tadka and chickpea curry, both served with rice and cilantro leaves (yum!) on the side. I love to order the takeaway option for a workday lunch, as I'm lucky to be working just a short walk from Curry Up. If you're on your way from Kazimierz to Podgórze, you're very likely to be passing next to this place – drop by and taste the best Asian street food in Kraków!
